The German Club Manor was completed in 1981 on Southgate Drive in close proximity to Lane Stadium. After ten years, in 1991, a significant addition was made to the Manor, including the magnificent Gordon Ballroom. This room was named in honor of Charles Gordon, who has given much of his time and resources to Virginia Tech and to the German Club.
The German Club Manor is home for the German Club and for the University. Club and University events are held at the Manor throughout the year, often several times during a month. For additional information about using the Manor, please read the Manor Usage Policy.
The Manor is used by 1) the German Club for our social events and our sponsored programs and seminars with emphasis on leadership, 2) for use by German Club Alumni for social, administrative, and educational functions, and 3) for use by Virginia Tech in its mission related functions.
