Manor Features
Ballroom
The Charles O. Gordon Ballroom was added to the Manor in 1991. Occupying 4,000 sq. feet, the Gordon Ballroom is ideal for all kinds of gatherings, from company or departmental retreats to wedding ceremonies and holiday parties.
Board Room
The Dekker Conference room features a 27 foot table, accommodating 30 chairs, and is the ideal place for large or intimate business gatherings. The room is named in Honor of Henry J. Dekker, a founder of the German Club Alumni Foundation and dedicated businessman and philanthropist.
Alumni Hall
The original main area of the German Club Manor, Alumni Hall honors all current and past Alumni of the German Club and welcomes all visitors. The room can be transformed to meet the needs of any event, and frequently serves as an ideal spot for cocktail hours and check in areas.
Patio
Featuring an outdoor fireplace, walk-through garden, and plenty of seating, the Manor patio is an enjoyable place to gather year round.

We couldn’t have imagined a better wedding than the one we had at the German Club Manor. With a sizeable attendance of just over 200 people we were afforded plenty of flexibility with the space and timeline and were still able to maintain an intimate ceremony and celebration. In addition, the place is beautiful and located right in the heart of Blacksburg. The Executive Director was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to our requests. Overall, we really couldn’t have picked a better place!
